This Risk Disclosure describes important risks related to Service Agreement coordination, provider payment workflows, stablecoin-to-bank off-ramp activity, fiat-to-stablecoin on-ramp activity, blockchain transactions, and third-party payment rails.
1. Cryptoasset and Stablecoin Risk
Stablecoins (such as USDC, USDm, EURC) are designed to track fiat currencies, but their value depends on issuer reserves, market liquidity, redemption mechanics, smart contract security, and regulatory treatment.
- A stablecoin may depeg or lose liquidity under extreme market conditions.
- Stablecoins are not bank deposits and are not insured by national deposit insurance schemes.
- Issuer solvency, smart contract vulnerabilities, bridge risks, and network forks may affect digital assets.
2. Blockchain Finality and Wrong-Network Risk
Blockchain transactions are irreversible once confirmed. You must send only the exact supported asset on the exact supported network displayed in the Sivan interface. Sending an unsupported token, using the wrong blockchain network, or omitting a required memo or payment reference can result in permanent loss.
3. Supported Multi-Chain Infrastructure
Sivan coordinates settlements across verified public networks including Celo, Stellar, Arbitrum One, Base, Solana, and Arc. Network congestion, gas fee surges, bridge delays, or validator interruptions may affect transaction speed.
4. Banking Rail and Provider Settlement Risk
Domestic bank cashouts and NIBSS/NIP rails in Nigeria depend on licensed banking infrastructure. Payouts may be delayed during national banking maintenance, public holidays, or compliance screening.
5. Non-Custodial Architecture
- Sivan does not hold, custody, or manage customer funds.
- Service Agreements lock counterparties' funds into transparent, verifiable on-chain smart accounts.
- Sivan will never request your private keys or seed phrases.
6. No Financial or Investment Advice
Sivan is a financial technology software provider. Nothing on Sivan platforms constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice.
